I. Meeting Called to Order - 7:00 pm
II. Fundraisers
- Many different fundraisers were discussed. Including the following current fundraisers:
1.) Shop N Save receipts, please continue to submit Shop N Save receipts. These receipts will then be turned into educational programs for the school.
2.) Campbell’s Labels, please continue to save and submit Campbell’s labels.
3.) Box Tops, please continue to save and submit you box tops. These box tops turn into money for needed school supplies.
4.) Scrip ordering, please visit the website for more information and a link to the Scrip website.
5.) Spirit Wear, different designs are being looked at for new Spirit wear for the students and families. More information will be coming.
6.) VMPA 7th Annual Golf Outing. The Golf Outing Committee is looking into possibly moving the outing to a new course for 2012. More volunteers are needed. The first meeting will take place after the first of the year. Please contact Jack Manack if you are able to help with this year’s event.
- New fundraisers were brought up for discussion, including the following:
1.) Terracycle, a recycling fundraiser. Terracycle Brigades will place
collection bins for selected waste items such as
juice pouches, cookie bags, soda bottles and cans,
chip bags. These items will be boxed and shipped to Terracycle
for recycling. Each unit of waste earns cash for VMS.
2.) Market America. Amelia Fun presented another unique fundraiser where your normal shopping can earn money for VMS and rewards for the families. There is no fee to join. Please visit www.MarketAmerica.com for more information.
IV. Conclusion :The meeting concluded at 8 p.m. The parents were then able to shop at the Book Fair.
