Dear Verna Montessori Families,
As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving and the Holiday Season ahead, let us reflect upon our many blessings and open our hearts to be a blessing to others. We invite you to be a part of our Secret Santa program and encourage you and your child(ren) to experience the joy of giving to those in need.
Our Secret Santa committee has chosen to sponsor the Salvation Army of Uniontown with our Secret Santa gifts this season.
Our “Giving Tree” with tags will be assembled and displayed at the Verna Hall entrance of VMS beginning November 23rd. You are encouraged to select a tag from the “Giving Tree.” We ask the adult selecting the tag to please carefully sign the gift roster on the clipboard next to the tree, matching the information on the tag selected. Your participation in this program is confidential and completely voluntary. Please, remember: if you decide to select a tag, make sure you fulfill your commitment and purchase a gift.
Tags will contain information about a specific child (id number, age, sex, and size). If there are two or more packages for a child, please be sure to secure all of them in one bag and attach the gift tag securely. All packages must be clearly marked with the recipient's id number. We ask that your gift be bagged (please do not wrap them) and returned to school beginning on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 and no later than Wednesday, December 7, 2011.
If you are unable to select a gift tag from the tree, but you would like to participate in this program, please forward the bottom portion of this letter to: Jill Skowronek no later than December 2nd. If available, a gift tag will be selected from the tree and forwarded to your family through your child.
